Real or Rendered - The truth has been set free!

Rendered. At the very beginning of the banister, it looks fake, and the right pillar below the arch, the reflection is too fake.

Wow, if you really did do that, it's amazing. I think it's rendered, but the only thing that gave it away is the plants... but that's FANTASTIC.

It is very good work, but I think it's rendered.
The picture feels like it should more of a fish-eye/wide angle feel to it.

I said real... way too much attention to detail for it to be renedered (not that it couldn't be done, I'm just saying anyone on ATOT has the attention span of a housefly)

Rendered. The biggest giveaway is the reflection of the light from the door off the right wall cuts off too abrubtly, looking more like there is a light source under the staircase on the left. But if there was, the back wall and the inside of the door would appear lighter.

I'm very torn on this one... I will lean towards real because the rug at the bottom of the stairs has too much detail in the folding. Also the top stair ledge has an imperfection... if it were rendered, that wouldn't be so in a scene so clean.

I was about to say fake because the light shining right near the bottom of the stairs has faded shadows similar to something a smudge tool can do.

this is my last real 3d work, did this over a year ago, learned alot since then

They look great. How long does it take you to create something like that? (Not the render time, I mean your time.)

about 1-2 months was the duration, sometimes I worked on it for up to probably 8 hours others not at all. Hard to give an exact number, but it took alot of time 🙂
Render time was a few hours, had to renderd it in like insane resolution so it could be printed on a A3 sized poster.

well, if it were rendered then there wouldnt be much point to use photoshop to create shadows 😛
