I got a couple of new CDs the other day. I like to rip them to my computer and keep the original in my car. So I ripped my two new ones like I always do using RealOne Player. They both ripped fine. After a while I got double songs from one CD (two track ones and two track twos and so on). That was a little weird, but then I clicked on the first one to play in and it was a Metallica Song (I do have a lot of Metallica stuff on here), all of the songs info was right. So, I went to delete then from the folder where RealOne stores ripped songs. And they were all .m4a's. I've never seen this extension before. But CDKNOW said it was the audio layer of Mpeg4s. So anyway, I deleted them and tried to re-rip the CD. Half of then would only go to 99% and stop. I just said to heck with it at that point. Unitl just a little while ago I notice all the songs from the second new CD I got (Alter Bridge, FYI) were missing from my playlist. So I checked the folder, and sure enough they were all .m4a's too. But I just listened to them a few hours ago. WTF is up with my computer?????
