Damn I'd love to do something like this!! Looks like they did more than just tie a camera to a balloon though. If you look at the final moments of the video you see what looks like there the shadow of some kind of craft that the camera is hanging from, probably so that it falls slower and survives the landing? Seeing the curvature of the earth and deep space like that is just awesome! Of course it's greatly exaggerated by the fish-eye lens but still! there's also something strange the camera captures at about 3:50 something as it swings about wildly, looks like some kind of green filament or something?

The popped balloon I believe, because it looks like the same thing when it crashes at the end of the vid.
