I have a horrible cold, and have had it for the past 3 days. Mostly it involves a lot of hard coughing up of phlegm and runny nose. Today I have the opportunity to go to a film festival strategies workshop at school (which is good because I am a film major), however I can't go unless I take a cold pill. The problem is, when I woke up this morning the first phlegm I spat up into the sink had a little bit of blood in it. All hack up since then has not.

I am pretty sure this is from the acetaminophen in the cold medicines aggravating my stomach since I used to have an ulcer from taking way too many pain killers over the course of a couple years. Should I take the cold pill anyway and risk it?
