saw this before here, pretty neat... wonder how many miles a car can go per gallon with this, and if the power for the radio source is low enough to last long enough

I personally don't believe it either. I caulk this up to the same as reports of people saying the found cold fusion. I only posted it because there is a remote chance that it actually means something since it was independently verified by a college professor.

Also, this was completely by accident, and most life changing discoveries have been by accident. So, who knows.

I will remain skeptical until it becomes repeated several times using independently build machines.

If it has been confirmed by the MRL, id say its pretty legit. It has been reported locally by Penn State as well.

"The radio frequency actually weakens bonds holding together the constituents of salt water -- sodium chloride, hydrogen and oxygen -- and releases the hydrogen, which, once ignited, burns continuously when exposed to the RF energy field."

Dr. Roy is an extremely qualified and credible validator of such an experiment.

yeah interesting.. buddy here made a good point that when you burn hydrogen you get water, so technically energy should be at best equal, hey? Maybe something to do with the salt?

Sounds promising to me. Just hope he can develop his idea before OPEC & Exon send death squads after him...

What he has actually discovered is a way to separate hydrogen from salt water using radio energy (apparently). The fact that the hydrogen can then be burned is incidental.

This could potentially be a decent way to get hydrogen for use in fuel cells (assuming it works as described), but you wouldn't be strapping the device itself into your car and then pouring salt water in the tank.

Too many pseudo science discoveries lately for me to believe this.
Let's see the working prototype first.

I wonder if he found a resonant frequency for the molecules? Hit the right spot, come apart easily. Probably more technical than that but that's the only fun term I could come up with.
