All of that stuff is great (totally classic), but I think a lot of the ones I listed in the post above yours are very, very good as well and they are "modern rap".

All of that stuff is great (totally classic), but I think a lot of the ones I listed in the post above yours are very, very good as well and they are "modern rap".

heard of a few of them, specifically the one you listed twice..

I normally listen to the beat and the rhyming, could careless about the lyrics. Alot of the current day rappers, just talk over music or it's just bisch, bisch, bisch, hoe, hoe, hoe every other word. I've got no problem with it being inserted into songs, but when half of your vernacular is calling a woman a slut...that's pretty bad...

I totally agree, which is why most of the stuff I listen to is not like that. Though Dr. Octagon does sort of do it, but in a slightly strange, and in my opinion funny, sort of way.

That "someone" is a legend and with ease one of the best and most consistent emcees ever. Ace has been rapping since 86 when he was down with the Juice Crew. In the mid 90's he even blew up with a commercial song.

Wayne sucks, he has a few decent lines here and there but overall he's horrible. HIs punchlines are corny as hell

"I know the games crazy, it's mo crazy than it's ever been/I'm married to that crazy bitch, call me Kevin Federline" lame and doesn't even rhyme

"Everyone know cheaters never get crowned/I play fair like rollacoasters and clowns" some other song he did, retarded as hell. His metaphors and punchlines are mostly embarrassing, I think only Paul Wall has more weak punchlines - nobody can top Paul's "I'm hot like warm piss" lol.

dude has like 1 good line out of every 100 and acts like he's the all time greatest.
