i might have mistitled the post. sounds like they're threatening to sue.
if sea level rises 60 feet, certain towns will be under water. Stanford U. is about 30 meters elevation, so i guess 60 feet of sea level rise would make Middlefield, in Palo Alto, beachfront real estate. for some home-owners, that might be a plus.
