I was born in the late 70s and I have great respect for him. But bloody hell, did we need a reminder that the funeral was today(or the 100th thread on the whole situation)? Unless you live in a fricken cave you should know that it was today.

Yeah they weren't around when he kicked ass and took names on the Spice Island of Greneda in retaliation for the Marine Barracks bombing in Beruit!

And I'm still waiting to see my share of his trickle-down economic package :D

However, I'm a big fan of live TV & events WHOA! They just tried to find Bo Derek . . . wonder if she's still a 10? Interesting stuff to watch. This isn't about whether or not he was a great president. I'm not surprised that an actor is getting a spectacular funeral.

I Guarantee if Reagan was president when we went to Iraq the 1st time we would not be in this mess that we are now.

I Guarantee if Reagan was president when we went to Iraq the 1st time we would not be in this mess that we are now.

Who knows, we were on pretty good terms with Hussien when he was President. Hell we didn't even retaliate when the Iraqi's hit one of our ships with an Anti Ship Missle..Oh yeah we did retaliate by shooting down an Iranian Airbus full of Iranian civilians.

I don't think Reagan pushed the button on that missle launched from one of our Naval Ships by accident and I believe that Captain was court Marshalled.

We talked about him a lot in economics today. We also watched a video on him... it really has nothing to do with economics but we have one day left of school. I found the video to be pretty interesting. I think he was an enthusiastic president, more optimistic than Carter by far
