After all of the reading I am ready to pull the trigeger on the MSI NF4.

I do not want to get old outdated product. Is there any new revsion I should be looking for or is there an older board revsion that I should avoid?

After reading reviews ... DFI seems to require a lot of tweaking, and is picky about memory.
MSI while it has it 's problems seems to be the most stable of the bunch

I'm also leaning this way. I plan on buying from NewEgg. And no, I absolutely will not be buying the DFI. Actually right now it's between the MSI and the ABIT for me. I would very much like to know if there is a specific revision to look for. I think I read in one of the threads that Rev2 is supposedly coming out soon?

Some people are having problems overclocking the MSI K8N Neo4. It seems that with some processors the board will not boot with a reference clock past 220MHz.

As far as I know this issue hasn't been fixed yet.

I have the MSI board is a nice choice for the moderate OC system maker. Limited RAM voltage to 2.8, limited FSB. They have this no-brain OC function in BIOS. Private, Seargent, Captain etc levels for beginners makes this very, very easy OC. If I had to do it over I would get the DFI. The reason is the OC ability. Now that I have a watercooling system I want to bump up the memory voltage over 3. Maybe this will change in the next BIOS revision.
