I hope we get a nice cold winter this year that brings snow to TN/NC again. I'd like to hit some local slopes and save on airfare... I hate having to fly out west every time I want to snowboard. The slopes suck enough with real snow, but at least if the weather was cold they wouldn't be slush like they have been.

No. Actually, though, I am going to really enjoy autumn as it is my favorite season!
I will welcome the season (hopefully this weekend) by getting my first gallon of UNpasturized apple cider and good fresh doughnuts, some local Michigan apples and making baked cinnamon apples, apple crisp and try my hand at carmel apple pie.

Besides that, I will pull my autumn candles out and welcome the cool weather.

I will be happy until the first good rain/wind storm of the season when all the beautiful leaves will be blown from the trees and all that will be left is a skeleton of bark.

PS, I hate winter.
