Is it a flip chip PIII?

If so, it's like this:

Pentium !!! Country
L032XXXX SL3XX

The L is the plant, I believe Philippines
0= 2000, or this year
32= the week
The SL3XX is the s-spec, which is it's stepping. In this case it's a cB0

Celeron Specs here.

Pentium III here.

OK i lied, not quite the same, the info on the top of my chip read like this:
700/256/100/1.65V S1 <--------- I am pretty sure about this stuff
00300078-0305 COSTA RICA <------------ probably the serial or something like that and the plant
i(some strange characers) '00 SL3XM <----------- who knows?

So now I want to know,how do I tell what stepping I have, and how do I tell what week it came from with this information....

People, go to developer.intel.com Literature Center, download the Pentium-III Specification Update document. It's all in there. How to read the markings, what they mean, and how to identify precisely what you have there through the S.... code.

You are the guy that made the L2-cache program for the k7v right? Just want to make shure I rated you right :)
