In 2006, Rex Tomb, then the FBI's chief of investigative publicity, was asked why not. He replied: "The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden's Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11

Any evidence gained from KSM or his associates implicating Bin Laden would not be admissable in our criminal court system.

Holder opened this can of worms, not me. Under his "Rules", Usame could not be tried in our courts.
All those mob hits could never be pinned on Al Capone either even though everyone knew he was behind them, so they pinned tax evasion on him instead.

Regardless, we need to find him and bring OBL in before we worry about what he'll be tried for. That assumes he's even still alive.

Are you sure? I mean, really, really sure? No straying thought or light touch of an inappropriate place?

You sure seem hung up about it.

Oh well, I am sure your mom loves you just the way that you are.

But, how about your dad? Is he understanding , too?

I'm wondering why you linked an obviously repressed and closeted gay man when, if you're not an ideological hypocrite and totally full of shit, you support a party that hates gays. Homophobia is a sure indicator of wanting to smoke the pole. Ask alchemize, he knows all about it.

Not when his family is bestest buddies with the Bush family, you don't. There's a reason he hasn't been apprehend in 9 years.

Hey wacko, you might want to join Kyle in the WTC7 thread with nonsense like that.

As for the topic at hand:
Why not give him his day in court? There is plenty of video evidence to him admitting to orchestrating terrorist attacks and I'm sure there is plenty of other evidence as well; he'll easily be found guilty. Then, instead of giving him that release of death (so that he can be a martyr for his cause), lock him up in a super-max in solitary for the rest of his natural life. No outside contact, etc...

There's nothing wacko, nonsensical, or conspiratorial about it. The Bush and Bin Laden families are known business associates. I'm not saying Bush was complicit in what Osama did, that's stupid. I'm saying there's a reason he was allowed to escape Afghanistan at the beginning of the war.

If KSM is tried in civilian court, does that mean Eric Holder will have to present information regarding steps, information collected, etc. that exposes what the Bush Administration did in the days after 9/11?

In the discovery process that information and much more will be made available to the legal team representing KSM.

I believe the sole purpose for civilian trials has little to do with justice and is a means to expose the alleged mis-deeds of the Bush administration.

Well if he's innocent then he has nothing to fear.

Are you stupid? He's was a member of a family that was very friendly with the Bush family. The same reason that every member of the bin Laden family in America was allowed to leave the country when everyone one else was grounded in the days following 9/11. This is not hidden knowledge. Well, it is if you watch Fox.
