Reading about Gilligan's Island on wikipedia makes me sad

Gilligan's Island was one of my favorite shows when I was growing up.

Over the past few decades a good number of the crew have died.

Its like we are losing a whole generation of people right before our eyes.

Its like my gramma used to say when she was still alive....you know youre old when your main social events are friend's funerals.
 
I still don't know where Maryanne got the necessary ingredients to bake coconut cream pies all the time like she did.

By the way, what crew? It was just the Skipper and Gilligan IIRC. The rest of them were just passengers.

I feel like that about a lot of people. We lost an entire generation of actors and entertainers that were seen everyday on TV. Dean Martin, Bob Hope, Johnny Carson...it's still hard to believe they're gone.
