read/unread markers not working

Just curious if anyone else has the problem where the read/unread markers (yellow or blue folder) just don't update? If I logout everytime I leave the forums & login everytime I re-enter them, the markers work. If I keep the automatic login turned on, it shows all the messages from last login as new all the time. Is there a trick to getting these to work properly? Do I have some securtity thing too high that I don't know about? Does anyone else have this problem so I know it is not just me?

I had that happen once when my IE was about to croak.

Ok I fixed it. Deleted your cookies. Then relogin into AT and it should work.

Iwill try that fix again, but I remember doing that before and it didn't work. Also, this is a new pc (less than month) and did it since first visit.

No good, still screwed up here. wonder if it is because I open threads into new windows & stay on main list it screws up the cookies?

I try reloading on thread list, exiting out of ie & reloading, no good, just logout and login every time is only way to get these to update. I will just remember when I last logged in & go to that time.
