Just to let you guys know, I work at a large computer store, and we had to pull our add this comming week, because there is a new michigan law stating that if your ad has the word "free", or "free after rebate", the consumer can take it and walk out the store with it, in other words, you HAVE to give it to them. I don't know if any other stores will pull their ads or not. FYI
 
I'm from Michigan...can you point to a site that says this exactly...not that I don't trust ya 🙂
 
I guess you could say this is a "hot deal" for michigan users, but change the title because it is irrelevant to the topic.

 
I telling you the truth, I work at CompUSA, and the managers had a meeting today about it. The ad was pulled, there will be a one page black and white ad instead. Wait till sunday and see if you dont' believe me.
 
lol this is an off topic forum, why does he have to change his topic for an off topic forum. his title would not fit under any other of the forums.
 
cool, if you're advertising things as free, then they better damn well be free. Are you saying that you're pissed cause you cant publish your misleading ad?
