by now some of you know my problems with my 1.4 overheating when using a dragon orb 3. Well today I noticed something when taking the orbs out to send back... cup0's orb wasen't plugged in but it's temp was 1 degree lower (76C) than the orb that was plugged in.... I have everything set up in a sx1030 with the two stock 80mm outputs and a panaflo h1a 120mm input with the two fans on my enermax psu as well.... What is the deal with that?

Are you saying that the fan on the orb WASN'T plugged up? Wow....that may have been a big problem.....now if your CPU made it through that?!?

When checking the temp in BIOS, did you tap the spacebar to update the temperature reading? The Tiger MP boards must have the spacebar key pressed for each update to display on the screen....

I really hope your chip is OK.....🙁

well I took the heatsink off and checked it out... it looks ok, no burn marks or anything... looked like it did the day I put it in minus the as2 on the core... no I didn't press the spacebar... I suppose I could boot it up again... maybe I'll just wait till my sk-6's come... yea I probably will.
