Read Me

Does anyone actually read the "read me" (before or after) anymore when installing programs? For me it depends on the program, if its a utility program and has only one function, then usually no. If its a multi featured program, then yeah, i'll read it.

naw....usually the readme doesn't even cover the functions of the program very well, and just has a blurb on the company, the version history, the copyrights...

I can figure it out for myself faster, thank you.

I would never read a full readme, or even skim it.


I DO read .NFO's as they normally have special installation instructions


for example:

open Alcohol 120%

create 1 virtual drive

load SuperexpensiveprogramripoffhackedCORPORATE.bin in virtual drive F:...
