The article was talking about how to make the workplace less offensive during the hoilday seasons and one of the things mentioned was how people should no longer decorate with red and green and instead use things like orange since red and green can be associated with Christmas and thus be offensive.

Bah.

PC crap.

Here.. almost the same article.

Think of it as "passive eugenics."

BTW, in Soviet Russia, newsletter subscribes to you.

Does this mean I should not use it for my christmas lights? In fact we have a stronger red/green theme than any of the blasphemers on our street!

So, what (some of) you are saying is that you are offended that people are offended at your one sided holiday decorations.

Too bad.

I'm amused that people are stupid enough to be offended by piddling little holiday decorations. I'm not Christian, but I'm not about to go drain the lizard on my neighbour's nativity scene across the street. :p

Who cares who you offend. Let them deal with it and cry if they don't like it. Then and only then will tax dollars be used to ameliorate the situation.

I give it a 6.5 on the trolling for anti-PC responses meter.
Funny how stupidity and political correctness are often found together. - M4H

Almost as much as stupidity and anti-pc rants are found together. Of course, the biggie is how much stupidity and humans are found together ;)

Besides, the original post *does* sing out to you;
"trolling, trolling, trolling... keep those posts a-rolling..."

Way to play devils advocate.
If they are offended, too bad. I guess we should pull the decorations from all retail stores, billboards, houses, apartments, well anything that someone can possibly see in public.
Oh hell, let's cancel the santa clause sitting-on-lap thing in the mall's too. Also, cancel and pull all of the santa clause related movies from the shelves.

The people who complain about xmas decorations are the same fools who will go off on a rant about relgion and flex their ideas on you.

Ummm.....isn't that that point? I'm realy starting to get tired of all the thin skinned pussies in this world. I do things exactly as I want them and if it offends the PC crowd that just happens to be a side benefit.

Yeah, I was hesitant to use it for a Limp Bizkit song, being as the textual form of the icon is " :music; " ...
