reaches vs. reachs?

I was flipping through channels last night on TV, and on the bottom of CNN (on that scrolling headline bar) it said something that I thought was wrong. I don't know exactly what it said, but it used the word "reachs." I always thought it was spelled with an "e."

So which is correct: he reachs the finals or he reaches the finals?

I think reaches is correct and CNN made an error. I dunno, but w/o the "e" it sounds really funny

If it was on CNN it's got to be true.... Remember, they were the first to report that Bush won the election and we ALL know that REALLY happened. 😉

I don't know if you know this, but this crazy thing we call the World Wide Web has a number of sites which could help you answer this question. This would probably be faster and easier than posting a poll on a message board.

Dictionary.com and M-W.com might be good places to start.

Yes but that wouldn't increase post counts or give people something to do for 2 minutes... Thats why this is called Off Topic because a post can be about anything not just things which make sense to you... 😉
