Well, I have a little problem with believing anything I see in an internet chat. But I have a friend who said the wrong thing to the police in the wrong place, and they put him and his wife in jail last weekend (after pistol whipping him). Claimed he attacked them, which is really stupid considering there was like 8 of them with their guns drawn and he's not at all the type who'd do that. He's still in jail, but his wife is out. They put her in a cell with someone who committed 1st degree murder. It was another female inmate, 23 with 3 kids. She and her boyfriend were tripping on acid and hit someone with their car. To avoid getting caught, they freaked and killed the guy the rest of the way. Nice area! My friend's wife said the girl who was in there for murder would get cigarettes from the guard by showing him her breasts. Nice. Now that's a f*ed up world.
It was really disturbing to read. After reading it, I read about ripper too and that was even more depressing

Yeah that videow as disturbing, the dude was covered in blood, looked to still have the knife in his hand was completely naked and just jumped on top of the police car.
shrooms are a fungus not a drug. The hallucinations and effects are a result of partial food poisoning.

The mayans and native americans frequently used these for spiritual purposes.

Why is it scary. I don't get it? If you don't do shrooms or any other for of hallucinogens what do you have to be scare of?
even if you do do shrooms and hallucinogens, if you research them, eat them in the appropriate quantity for your trip experience level and plan an appropriate safe tripping environment what do u have to be scared of?

In my experience, people on 'shrooms are more susceptible to the power of suggestion. Meaning that if someone tells them something, they are more likely to believe and act on it. For example, someone told me that I was not really where I thought I was, I had been kidnapped by aliens who exactly recreated the house and all the people in it. In reality, was flying through space to their home planet. I was SO SCARED! I refused to look out of the window for at least an hour because I really believed that I would see stars flying past me. I spent the whole night eyeing everyone suspiciously, trying to see throught their alien disguises.

Its just scary to think of what it does to other people and what it could do to people you know and care about.

becasue that is a more accurate statement and I am sure you are just as scared of people who used alchohol(belligerence, drunk driving etc.) or any other mind altering substance irresponsibly.
Unfortunately, luv, it doesn't always happen like that. That's like a pre-meditated high.
I don't know anyone that goes through that much trouble to get high. Usually regular drug users just know what they can handle. (Edit - sort of like drinking)
I did know few people back in high school who actually some what planned when and where they would trip, different people at different times. All of them had bad trips. My theory is because it was planned they tripped hard sketched out.
I only had a few bad experiences myself. I usually just ended up puking my guts out.
Shrooming while camping at Shenandoah in Virginia was a fantastic experience for me. Hiking along in the woods among the bright red and orange trees and watching the first gentle snow drifting down into random shafts of sunshine that illuminate hidden glades is truly something to see. You can actually perceive the subtle patterns of nature in the moss growing on a boulder or in the bark of a tree. And the stars at night from the peak of a mountain seem to fit together perfectly and create an intricate web of light that reflects that same natural order but in breathtaking porportions. I'll have to admit, the presence of any latent pscyhosis would probably have put a damper on my day. Good times though, good times.
