re-installing thermaltake

hi.. i want to apply arctic silver on my cpu.. pproblem is i cant remove the heatsink fan.. im having trouble removing my thermaltake volcano 7.... everytime i try to pop out the lock..my screwdriver slides and hits the mobo.. is this bad??? any danger to it?? im really getting frustrated .. any tips??? thnks....

ummmm, smashing a screwdriver across the MB is bad, ummm kay

Nope, no danger at all, unless you consider breaking traces, removing resistors/capacitors from your mobo, and possibly cracking the PCB dangers :D

As was said earlier, get a smaller flat head screwdriver.
