I made the mistake of trying to "improve" my wife's calendar app on her Droid Incredible by using a Titanium Backup copy of my calendar. Needless to say, it didn't work. I was scatterbrained that day and didn't make a backup of her original calendar app, now she's going without.
Her phone is rooted, using the stock rom, since she won't let me put Cyanogenmod on it.
I found the full image, extracted the Calendar.apk file from it and tried installing it, but it keeps dying out. I'm assuming because it's trying to install a system file. I've tried copying it to /sbin/app/Calendar.apk, but it doesn't show up in the main drawer as being recognized.
If this were Cyanogenmod, installing it wouldn't be that much of a problem, I think. Is there a way to re-install this without having to re-image her phone and start her customizations all over again?
