RDRAM - Need a little help on upgrading questions

Hey guys,

A friend of mine has a Dimension 8250, it came with (2) chips of "Rambus Inline Memory Module, 128, 533MHZ, 64X16, 4C" from the factory. His motherboard has 4 slots on it.

My question is, is it ok to leave the current (2) 128mb chips in there and just add another (2) 128mb chips or another (2) 256mb chips? Will this work or does all the chips have to be the same size?

Can anyone tell from the part description on dell's website which memory modules (what speed) and so forth we'd need to purchase for his upgrade.

Just looking for a little help guys, I did a forum search and article search and didn't turn up many results consisting of technical information on the topic at hand.

Thanks for any help..

Here's the service tag if anyone needs to look up the information on Dell's site.
Service Tag: FWW7D21

And here's the link I found with some general information on the Dim 8250 on Kingston's site.

yes you can add another 2 sticks with the 2 already there. Just put the new memory where the c-rimms are now. They have to be the same. Like 2x128 or 2x256 can't mix a 128 with 256.

Newegg has them available PC1066 RDRAM 16bit non-ecc version. The Kingston is $119 each for the 256MB.
