I've installed Remote Desktop Connection on both computer but the Windows ME machine just will not connect. It says that there are not "terminal servers" on my workgroup. How do I get ME to accept the connection?

you're not, RDP is a stripped version of Terminal Services. All you did was install the client, not the server. You'll have to use something like VNC to connect to a WinME box.

VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing. It is, in essence, a remote
display system which allows you to view a computing 'desktop' environment
not only on the machine where it is running, but from anywhere on the
Internet and from a wide variety of machine architectures.

WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! WinXP PRO can host the server side of RDP. Have you enabled it? If not, start with a right-click on My Computer and select Properties. There is a remote tab there.

-SUO, uses RDP on WinXP Pro

Reread the OP, he's trying to RDP into his ME box which is obviously not possible.
