RD580 need a mastercard?

I am planning on purchasing two 1800 Xl's or XT's depending and want to know if the mastercard is needed with this mobo? Anyone know I did not see anything on the review for this board so I am very interested.

Yea, Im pretty sure it needs the Crossfire Edition card.....
