This may be an elementary question-but is there a way to print out bios settings relatively painlessly? I reflashed a bios last night and I hate writing down all the settings first.

I'm primarily concerned with Abit motherboards, if that matters (bx6 and ka7).

I'm not sure you can do it within an abit bios but there are Windows programs that allow you to back up the bios settings on your motherboard and in turn print them out. I think you might find one of these programs at windrivers.com but i'm not sure.

Rifter's right - the printscreen key works nicely as long as your printer knows how to accept plain text.

O d d O n e, who keeps a printout of his BIOS for backup purposes.

I havent seen a printer yet that wont accept plain text, but im sure there are some out there, you shouldnt have a problem though, unless maybe you have a inkjet, i wouldnt know beacuse i always buy lasers and have never had a problem with just hitting print screen.

Rifter-

Thanks-you know I never even look at that group of three buttons. I think the only one I ever even touched before was scroll lock.
