I wanted to get this TV. I asked my friend at BB about it. He said it's decent. Today he said he could get it for me for 325... 250 sounds low! I'll ask him about it.

it's a manager's special, so YMMV. I will stop by my local BB to check this out, maybe they will have a Sony as the manager's special.

Best Buy's closeout prices are set by manager's discretion at each location. Some managers will honor a lower price at another BB store, and some won't. They are not obligated to do so. Your chances are better if you can get confirmation (copy of a receipt, etc.) from the store offering the lower price.

One way to check is to call your local BB, and ask for a stock and price check by SKU number. If you have several stores in your area, their computer will show price and quantity for all of them in your region. Note that their computer system may not be current up to the minute.

In my experience at the 3 stores I've worked at, managers generally won't do it unless their is a high quantity and they've been having a hard time pushing a closeout model out the door. They'd rather get rid of it before it goes past "at-risk" but if the model sells well at that store they have no reason to.

Goodluck

That is correct CoolZero16. At my store managers don't make the prices the employees/supervisiors make the prices. So IF the item is on our "End Of Life" list then we will price it lower than employee rather than having it shipped back and taking a bigger hit at our PNL (Profit and Loss), which affects our NOP (Net Operating Profit).

BOTTOM LINE YMMV!
