It has been 24 hours, and I can't find my email address at the dsibributed site. I want to join Anandtech, but can't get a password.

Any suggestions or links? I read the one by Paulson, but it did not help.

Did you flush 24 hours ago? I would say just wait another 24 for the moment.

also the auto send password is not working at the moment what E-mail address did you use?

I flushed it about three times now. The last flush was about 6 hours ago.

I used my normal email address in my profile.

Go to this page and enter the email id you are using under participant stats and click on search. You should get a page like this one.
Click on your email id to get your stats page. Go to the bottom of the page and click on please email me my password.
When you get your password go to the Team Anandtech Page and click on the I want to join this team.

It looks like they haven't added anything since 22 Dec 00.

I'll try again after Christmas, and it should be updated then.

Oh, by the way, you are doing OGR.

If you prefer to do RC5 then you need to edit your DNETC.INI file to have the following:

[misc]
project-priority=DES=0,CSC=0,RC5,OGR

[buffers]
frequent-threshold-checks=4

I am now signed up with Team Anandtech.

I edited my DNETC.INI file to what you put down below, but I am a little confused.

On this page it tells you how to set up the program to only crunch RC5. I did this. Was this page wrong?

Yes, that link gives instructions that would have resulted in:

being added to your DNETC.INI file.

This is equivalent to what I had posted. i.e it should have worked!

The only thing I can think of is that your DNETC.INI file did not get updated. Did you choose the "0" option all the way back until you exited?

You also need to re-start the client after an ini update in order for the changes to take.
