rc5 unable to communicate ! help!!!!!

hi all i am cracking for rc5 and my client dnet v2.8010-432-ctr-00071215 for win32 gives the following error...

[Nov 21 09:56:04 UTC] NetUpdate::Unable to open communications channel. (-1 ...


it can't fetch or flush blocks 🙁

i have tried it on two different dial up isp's and in both win98 and win2k. have uninstalled and re-installed the client agian (yes i saved all the bufferin and buffer out files too. 🙂

can anyone suggest a way to flush/fetch more block.. 🙁 i have run out,the buffer was set too 500 work units a day and roughly 32hours on my cel450A. 🙂

any help greatly appricated.. 🙂

I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait for some of the RC5'ers to come around, I've been away from it too long to be much help I'm afraid.😱 I do notice however that you are just using the default DNET keyservers, do you know about the team proxy and Mika's stats?

just went searching and found the teamanandtech proxy and it has connected to that quite sucessfully. 🙂
