Is this meaning that the key is found or what? I haven't been around for long here, but if one of the ancients could say if this kind of thing has happened before (with the servers not updating for 2 days and some messages about no more work), it would be nice.

I think that is may be possible that the big dump that went on on friday could have knocked their servers offline for days:)

This has happenend in the past, where the keyserver puked on it's own shoes and the proxies ran out of work (and there were also times where the proxies just weren't pulling work at all). I wouldn't take this as a sign the key's been found (the proxies during DES still gave out and accepted DES blocks after the contest was over, if I remember correctly).

I didn't check, but I would be surprised if the "dump" on the 10th caused any problems. This has happened a number of times before, the stats are unavailable, and no word from distributed.net as to the cause for several days. :(

Things usually get fixed, then they run through the stats runs quickly to get things back in order.

>that the big dump that went on on friday

we submitted less than what DPC averages. I was a drop in the bucket.

did anyone notice yesterday that someone submitted over 1M blocks in one dump. now that's a dump.
