rc5 as a service

Run the client at the command line once with the command "dnetc.exe -install". This will install the client as a service. Then start the service, and you're set.🙂

don't forget to start the service, and if I remember correctly: dnetc.exe -svcstart

(Or if Win2KPro, Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services, find the dnetc entry, right click on it and select Start)

🙂

The clicks method you might be thinking of consists of going to the dnet install folder, and creating a shortcut to the dnet.exe client. From there you would choose the properties of the shortcut and in the 'Target' box, you would put ["dnetc.exe" -install] (With out the brackets of course.)

A reboot will also start the service.
