RC monster trucks - cool video

They do. Stadium trucks.

But over the years the monster truck and buggies have really dominated the hobby. Just look at what you can do with the monster truck.

So much fun. The technology has advanced a good amount that those trucks are becoming outdated.

Nice truck.

I've got a picco .26MAX in my little revo. too much power. I had to gear it up big time just to keep it from flipping over all the time. Man that thing is fast.

We mainly run Revos, LST2 and Savages. Tons-o-fun.

you can put whatever badass soundtrack you want to it

it is still not badass

its not like you are DRIVING the RC car

it is not even a sport

you can hurt yourslf in sports

its
just
a toy

Get nailed in the ankle/shin with a 10 pound projectile going 50 mph and get sent to the hospital for major surgery.

Of course it isn't a sport. It's a hobby...you know...for fun?

Who said toys are bad? Toys are fun 🙂

how much does a decent truck cost now?

The revo is ready to run at 500 bucks.

All you need is fuel, fuel bottle, batteries for the starting mechanism and charger for those batteries (truck comes with charger for the recevier)

600 bucks and you are out the door with everything you need.

My little truck has many many many upgrades.......all aluminum (except for the rear bulkhead....gotta have a weak point)

Get nailed in the face/forehead with an 8 gram projectile going 2400 fps and get sent to the morgue for major death.

Of course it isn't a sport. It's a hobby...you know...for fun?

I hunt just fine thank you.

Your neffing balls are much bigger than mine. This is a hobby. And a darn fun one at that.

-edit-

But you may be on to something here.

RC truck jumping, combine with skeetshooting. BUT! you have to shoot the truck with a 40 or higher hand gun and you can only hit in the air.

I may have invented a new sport.
😉

lol...she hasn't run in over a year. I thought I drained all the fuel out for the winter last time I used it, guess there was a little left. It's all gummed up now. I probably need a new carb....or a rebuild kit. Have yet to find the time to pull it apart. I've had to replace the tranny once and that wasn't fun, I can only imagine what a ground up rebuild will be like.

No, I mean like scaled down versions of real trucks.

Somewhat realistic scale: http://cgi.ebay.com/TAMIYA-BLACKFOOT-F1...09QQcategoryZ44029QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Subaru Brat: http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-1-10-Subaru-...29QQcategoryZ44022QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Sweet Toyota: http://cgi.ebay.com/TAMIYA-BRUSIER-4X4-...09QQcategoryZ44022QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Leaf springs and solid axle, just like real trucks!! http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-Bruiser-Moun...09QQcategoryZ44022QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I like those scale ones because it's like off roading without worrying about snapping an axle or flipping your real truck.

And you still have the cartoonish long arm suspension and tires that go completely past the body.
Now this is sweet! It even has a little ladder frame, leaf springs, solid axles, a shiftable transmission, and locking hubs!
