RC Car enthusiasts? Need help IDing a few cars!!!

I received a LARGE amount of RC stuff from a neighbor and the boxes included three cars. Two of which I have no idea what they are and sadly, there are no radios. I also have received a LARGE quantity of spare parts and electric motors for many cars. In my quest to sort out what I may need and what I should keep, I need help Identifying these cars. Then I can sort through the boxes and get rid of parts that can't be used on these cars.

What I primarily need is: A radio, electronics (servos) and battereis. I have a few 2 and 3 channel receivers, about 12 or so various electric motors and one speed controller. None of which look like they are in good shape.

Car #1: This one is known, Tamiya Hornet

My question is, do I need a special radio or will any work as long as I have the receiver for it?

Car #2: Unknown (Probably an AYK Pro Radiant)

Obviously AWD via chain.

Car #3: Unknown (Probably a Yokomo 4WD )

This unit is also AWD via chain. I removed the chain and added the INCORRECT front wheels in an effort to make it a RWD car. It has three working wheels for the AWD system but I can't find a hub to mount the 4th.

If any more info is needed, please ask. I can get more pics also. THANKS GUYS! Help me get RCing again, I haven't had a run around the neighborhood since my old Radio Shack Golden Arrow!
 
Unfortunately I have no radios. I'm hoping to id the cars first since I have TONS of extra parts and I wanna see what is worth keeping and what I should toss on ebay and unload.
 
Hey gilbot how you been! I am leaning towards and older Kyosho car on the 2nd but I am not well versued on older cars. The 3rd I have no clue.

I would place a post on RCZ or I can post one for you, one of the guys there like Steve Pond will know what they are, also I have a 27mhz AM 2 channel radio I would give ya, you would just need a reciver.

The 2nd one is some sort of Kyosho but I don't know which one. I've got one hanging in my garage (chassis) that looks similar. I think yours has some sort of aftermarket chassis on it since the drivetrain looks the same but the chassis doesn't.
 
The guy that gave these to me was a factory sponsored racer so who knows what is what honestly. I'm just trying to get a best idea of what they are so I can go through the boxes of parts and sell off what I can't use. Then I can start the restoration to build them back up to operating condition.

Narse, I'll register over there and see if I can get more info. You are more than welcome to post a thread if you like though!! I'd gladly pickup a transmitter if anyone has one (wink wink) they'll let go cheap. I have three receivers. Two Futaba two channel FP-R2GS (75.570MHz and 75.550MHz) and a two channel NER-223X FM 27mhz

I've also recieved some email tips that car #2 might be a Race prep - Pro Radiant car so i'm off to google to look into that possibility.
