Perhaps, but in this case it seems pretty evident that millions care.
Millions cared about a shit medical bill that flopped. Millions also cared about continuing over 8 proxy wars. But for some reason those were conveniently passed over from simply evaluation....

We have 4 of 8 current SC justices serving that have been appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote. The system is broken. Time to secede.

ooops....forgot that there are some on this forum who like to comment when they don't have a fucking clue what they're talking about. Her legal work for woman's rights, and in particular their economic rights was legendary and just in a hit movie! Christ on a bike, now I fully understand why so many people have you on ignore, you literally add nothing of any value to the conversation.

That's cute. How beautiful for you to read such amazing fairy tales.

Now let reality punch you in the dick...

If they can't name a judge how will they know which way the court leans? We both know the answer is that they'll read it on twitter or face book. How many people do you think understand what the actual job of the supreme court is or what guidelines they're supposed to follow?
More to the point, Americans are way to fat and lazy to have a civil war. Sure, burning down a few buildings is fun, and looting has become a viable job opportunity, but shit gets real when there are people shooting at you. Most people won't have anything to do with it when they discover there isn't an app for it.

your chummy complacency as you toast the decent into fascism is noted.

Not sure why I couldn't see this thread on my phone. Its not showing up on the top of the P&N threadlist for me. Now sure why.

I'm absolutely devastated. I feel like things like this are what ends up destroying the country.

Wow, you put up a totally unrelated article about how RGB didn't agree with Kaepernick's kneeling as a rebuttal to my point of how she was a major advocate for women's rights and particular their financial independence. I'm glad you agree with me that you cluelessness is astounding that you decided to flail around and grab at any straws you could.

Oh and then later on the article talks about her closeness with Scalia. Again totally unrelated to the point I was making but it's actually something that I found appealing about her. The fact that she and him could ignore the obvious legal differences between them and enjoy their shared love of opera I always thought was quite endearing.

shit and flopped?

explain that with evidence.

sounds like you are also bullshitting your way towards an argument that, again, doesn't exist.

wars?...that's also a republican problem and it always fucking has been. Not even possible to argue otherwise. It you think otherwise, then you're even dumber than a 3rd grader would think possible.

Any bets that by tomorrow he will take the gloves off and be slamming her, and naming replacement candidates?

If they do, it's total war and greenlight for President Biden to pack the courts.
I disagree. If we have to adjust the system so much just to make it fair, fuck it. Let the more advanced blue states let the red ones go. Texas and Florida can learn to support the deep red south shitholes.

They'll either fill it before election or in the lame duck. Either way, with Obamacare lawsuit on the docket, this election is now about whether you want to have health insurers be allowed to discriminate based on pre-existing conditions and tens of millions thrown off insurance next year, because SCOTUS will rule that way, and unless another law is passed to replace Obamacare, that's what will happen.

No one in this forum has OP on ignore because he isn't a flaming douche.

He actually makes posts and replies with reasonable facts and arguments.
Yet you still disrespect him by not doing the same in return. For some reason the OP puts up with more of your shit then the rest of us are willing to do. I really hope we are the outlet you need so you drive your wife insane so there is at least a purpose to your never ending shit posting.

He may not find that so easy.

Lady G isn't going against the Dear Leader, that would be suicide for his base's turnout in his senate election. Here's what I expect to happen:

1. Full confirmation hearings are held
2. Collins, Murkowski, and Romney make a stink of holding a vote before the inauguration. Gardner probably doesn't want one either, so McConnell holds off.
3. No vote happens before November 3rd
4. On the night of Nov 3rd Trump looks to be ahead on electoral votes based on the in-person vote without the mail-in vote having been counted
5. November 4th McConnell says Trump won, and Collins and Gardner become yes votes, Trump's shitbag nominee is confirmed

Four/five days later when we find out Biden really won McConnell can say he held the vote because all indications were Trump was re-elected.
