yes,,, and I just saw some bad news on the 2100 I just ordered ...
(documented tracking problems, and not only that , a new model is in the works ... called Model 2500)

Maybe I'll cancel it now... cuz I haven't actually sent in my order in the mail yet.

Comment: We know now that the Boomslang 2500 won't be released or will come later. It was replaced by the 2100 which is complete identically to the 2500 only with 400 DPI less. We'll release a Review about the 2.1k when all faults of it are solved.

I just joined the forum over there to see what they say ... I'll let ya know...

you are the second person to mention this mouse. johnbear007 has been raving about this razer mouse for quite a bit (in the teflon tape/C4 threads). im actually tempted to see what the fuss about. however i'm too cheap and the idea of investing in a ball mouse is akin to buying a horse and chariot to get the novelty of a horse. bad analogy ... im going to bed. :)

that mini only has 3 buttons ,,, and half the precision (400 DPI)

unless... I'm looking at the wrong mouse link ... you have a link 'Tabb' ...?

not to mention ,,, I need a larger mouse for my big hands....
(you must be a kid ? just guessing from your "kicks my mouses ass' comment ,,, and that its a "mini" mouse)

The optical I use now gives me wrist strain ... (too small and not ergonomically made IMO)

(my wrist makes 'cracking' noises after gaming with it,,, but I'm old too ... :p )

Hehehe

I'll rave here as well. I think those that have ha d a bad experience with theirs muist have been too lazy to do anything about it. My old one started to have problems, even while the company was out of business or "restructuring" and they still had teh time/decency to send me a new one for free, outside of my warranty.

I like the company, and I love the product. I think that people who point at reviews, especially ones like Toms which are poorly done, should do themselves the favor of actually trying one of these off hand.

I can't wait to get my new one. Even when there are problems, they stand behind their product 100%

lol 400 DPI is a fraction of the 2100 of the boomslang.

However, if you dont like the 'slang, then the mx700 is great. I don't know where this mini mouse nonsense is coming from.

I recieved my razor today.

I now have to order 'mouse skates', because the skates provided on the mouse are inadequate.
The mouse dosen't glide on it's skates at all with my cloth pad.
I turned it over to take a profile look, and they barely rise above the mouses body.

So, I'm ordering mouse tape, to put the mouse on skates properly.
And I guess I have to buy a new type of mouse pad. (non-cloth)

So, I cant tell you how it performs., cuz it's too hard to push around.
(and I dont want to use it on my desk top)

Otherwise,
The buttons and feel are good.
The mouse wheel is noisey thou.

Glad I didnt pay full price. Grrrrr. :(

I recieved my mouse today. I am using my mouse on an everglide Giganta. Mine glides just fine, and the teflon feet seem to work perfectly.

This mouse is a great improvment over my old boomslang, and a huge improvement over my intellimouse explorer. The precision ie excellent, and so far it has not suffered from any of the previouse problems.

I am very happy to have gotten in on this deal .

On another note, I find the mouse wheel an asset. It has a slightly higher resistance than most mouse wheels. That along witht he loud click makes weapon switching a beliberate process. I had found with other mice that I would accisentally swich weapons, especially when using the mouse wheel button. The mouse wheel on this mouse ensures that that is much less of a problem.

nope my mouse is only under mouse and other pointing devices. Are you using an nforce motherboard?

I am going to get the C4 mouseing surface when that releases as well. I have heard good things about the func but I am going to stick to my everglide. I bought it a long itme ago, and it has a Razer Boomslang logo on it.
