saw it a few months ago on their site, it's looking better and better. Defnitely a nice looking keyboard.

macros for different games? +++
a key removal tool to swap out special keys. Would make removing keys easier for me to clean the Cheeto dust out from between them :) +++

only down side, it looks like they scapped the back-lit keys and added some weird lamp thingy you can buy to illuminate the keys, don't think I like this at all.

snakes are the name of their mice... (I'm guessing because snakes eat rodents, ie mice)

as for spiders representing their keyboards, perhaps it works well going along with the creepy crawly and spiders having lots of legs and what not (fingers on the keyboard)

I dunno, just my guesses.

hummm you might be on to something, never thought about the snake names and how snakes eat mice. Wonder what the Barracuda sound card is named for.

I might buy the sound card, especially if the drivers rock. I can't stand Creatives drivers! Razers sound card actually has some killer specs hummm... My Razer mouse was expensive. I'm sure the KB is expensive, the sound card expensive, probably. I'll have to get a 2nd job. I'll draw the line if they introduce one of those killaNIC $250 dollar network cards though.

Eh, I just have a regular Chaintech AV-710 soundcard... I don't need much for my gaming. And more importantly than the design of the keyboard is the feel of it. I liked the Saitek Eclipse because of the feel of its keys, not because of the fancy lighting or whatnot. I'd have to try out the keyboard first... but I can never find these high end gaming peripherals at any stores on display anywhere around here. Everything has either MS or MicroInnovations or something.

cevilgenius, do you have a local PC store near your house? If you do, just ask them if you could try out the keyboard before making a decision. I recently tryed the G15 and the Eclipse II. The eclipse has a better feel to it.

All I want from a keyboard is a split layout and full key rollover. Plus buckling spring contacts for those who want them.

Looks like their answer to the G-15 and G-11.

I still like being able to play while watching who's talking on Ventrilo through the LCD. ;)

The programmable gaming keys are excellent as well. The G-15 and G-11s have a quick record button, so you can literally assign keys to any key-press or console text action while still in the game. Hell, I could probably stop using WASD and switch to the G-keys if I wanted.

the first pics I saw of the board, it had backlit keys, I don't know why they changed it.
