Razer product quality

Can't speak to Razers, as I hate the shape of even their smaller mice. An Intellimouse Optical body, with a fancy new 3600+ CPI sensor, though, I would buy in a heartbeat.

Seems kind of odd you said that, I think the DeathAdder and Mamba are about as close as you can get to a clone of the Intellimouse Optical, albeit slightly smaller.

There's something about the curve/height on most Razer mice, that either ends up uncomfortable after only a couple minutes, or starts hitting my palm. The Abyssus may be an exception.

My first Razor product has been the Mamba which I bought 6-7 months ago. Prior to that I've owned about 5 Logitech gaming mice and they all died one way or another. The quality on this Razor is way better then the Logitechs I have owned, it's without a doubt the best feeling and fitting mouse I have laid hands on.

Two gripes though: The mouse wheel actually is squeaking now as if it needs some WD-40. Don't know what that's about. The other thing is it came packaged in an absurd manner with over the top amounts of cardboard, plastic display casing and other materials.

Razer build quality is junk.

Viper - right button stopped working
Copperhead - scroll wheel started sticking
Mamba - Left button clicked if you breathed on it, let alone rest your finger on it.

I have Logitech mice older than the Viper that still work fine. I gave Razer 3 chances and will never buy another of their products.
