I currently own the razer pro solutions mouse and love it. I've been seeing amazing reviews for the copperhead for some time now. I have some online store credit, which is enough to get the copperhead. Is there really a difference between the two mice? (outside of the difference in dpi)

Has anyone used both mice? Or at least the Copperhead?

Haven't used the Copperhead nor did I use the Pro Solutions. But Diamondback gives similiar performance like the Copperhead for a better price. I got a DeathAdder though, expensive little rat:p.

Other than the obvious increase in DPI I'd say the only major selling feature of the Copperhead over your mouse would be the onboard memory which stores the 5 driver profiles allow you to run and switch them without the drivers (a plus if you don't like having excess drivers installed or you move the mouse to different computers)

The shape/design of the mouse was also slightly changed.

I have a Copperhead, and I've found it to be fantastic. Very smooth, very good acceleration and pinpoint accuracy. It is a very comfortable mouse to use for long periods of gaming, plus it looks great to boot. However, I sometimes turn down the resolution when I'm on the desktop just because it is so sensitive to the slightest movement.
