Razer Diamondback Mouse Button

So after 2 years of use I started to notice the rubber grip on my mouse actually peeling off. I searched google for this problem and ended up with NO similar results. Has anyone ever experienced this?

No issues with my diamondback, and it's older than yours. And I'm pretty rough on my input devices. Try krazy glue?

I would but the rubber grip started peeling off in tiny pieces, I tried asking Razer if they could do anything about it but apparently they can't replace it.

Is it only cosmetic, or does it affect usability?

Which part are you talking about specifically, the wheel or the rubber on the sides? If you have rubber on buttons 1 & 2 we may have different models - my buttons 1 & 2 seem made of some kind of durable plastic.

What rubber grip are you talking about? I've had my diamondback for almost 3 years of steady gaming - the only problem is it sometimes doesn't turn on with my comp making me unplug then replug- no big deal. I even spilled beer all over it and all I did was take it apart and let it dry - still perfect!

No shit, mine sometimes does that too. I figured it was my motherboard being kinda flaky.

No its not your mobo - a lot of razor mice seem to have the not turning on problem - my buddies newer razor does the same thing. Mine just seems to do it randomly - I'm not replacing it until they make wireless gaming mice - Besides the g7

I emailed Razer about it and they sent me an RMA number and I just sent the package yesterday, hopefully I can get the new mouse soon.

Wow, didn't even think that could happen. You press against your mouse really hard or something? I'm a former WoW player and even mine doesn't look like that 😕 Anyway glad to hear they're RMAing it
