hi everyone, I'm thinking of buying a razer deathadder mouse, which costs around 50 bucks.

should I wait for a sale? do you guys have any places where I can get it for cheaper? I live in Canada

Don't know anything about prices/availability in Canada, but I will say it's a great mouse! Been using it myself for a few months, loving it.

Own two of the left-handed ones, and love them. I doubt that you'll find a sale price, but you never know -- Amazon is probably your best bet.

Well it's selling for 40 over at amazon atm. I got mine around 6 months ago for 45 so you might as well just spend the 5-10 dollars to get it quick. Razer products don't tend to devalue all that quickly, maybe 5-10 dollars off it's value per year.

semi-OT:

would you maybe consider the Abyssus?

i had the Ab and now have DA, they have the same sensor, the Ab is lighter and has a better shape, tho a wee bit small. The DA is heavier and for the shape it has you won't be able to palm it, so, claw grip it is and in the long run it hurts.

Ab is also cheaper. great mouse, tho it does tend to break - but that's what warranties are for.

You can check out Amazon or NCIX. Those are the only places i can think of that will have them for a decent price.

Just to let you know the death adders all suffer from the same problem, where the side mouse button breaks. This has happened to two of my mouses and all of my friends death adders. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

i came from using an intellimouse 3.0 for around 10 years, to a razer DA. i like it, fits nicely and very close in shape to the intellimouse. i have had no issues with the buttons not working.

my only complaint is the mouse cord is braided and it's getting frayed on my cheap ikea desk keyboard tray.

get the black edition. Has grippy side material versus the glossy slippery sides of the regular ones.
