I have very large hands, and it's a very comfortable mouse. I've heard the DeathAdders have "perfect" sensors. All I know is that it works extremely well. Make sure you install the Synapse software and bump up the polling rate to 1000Hz. It makes a surprising difference in the smoothness of mouse movement (most noticeable in FPS games).

Is it any longer from the original version? I've heard that when it first came out it was good for large hands but I have freakishly large hands (about ten inches from middle fingertip to wrist) and so I tend to use a clawgrip and I tried the original DA and it was awful for the clawgrip.
 
Price is 48.99 for DA black edition at best buy. Was going to have frys price match it today but scanned the CM storm Sentinel II and new egg had it 30$ cheaper. From 69.99-39.99 seemed like a better deal. No clue how good the mouse is but I'm going to try it out soon. If not ill return it for the deathadder next week.

Now that the G500 is bug/problem ridden, tempted on picking up a newer Deathadder for this price. Why did logitech have to ruin something that was fine as-is :/?

The Storm Sentinel II was a great mouse IMO, except for one issue with an intended feature: a liftoff of a few mm, and the laser cuts out. Totally unnecessary on a wired mouse, and wouldn't have been an issue if it came back on instantly...it doesn't. I tend to sometimes pick my mouse up off the table when moving it, and the cut-off feature killed this mouse for me because of it. Just be aware. Otherwise, everything seemed to work perfectly!
 
After using it for a couple of hours, it, like the others I've owned, feels too small for me. My hand measures 8" from the beginning of the palm to the tip of the middle finger. I think my last mouse, a Zowie EC-1, fit a little better. I don't like the rough upper finish. I have the same problem that I had with the EC-1 of constantly right clicking by accident, requiring a piece of soft plastic pushed under the button, taped to the side of the base. I think I'll fit a small piece of rubber to the top rear and tape it on for better palm fit.

Yeah so far I like it. I did notice that "feature" and could not figure out why they did that. Guess Ill learn to deal with it.
