Razer boomslang 1000 vs boomslang 2000

Don't know if it is appropriate to post this here but here I go.

Boomslang was a popular gaming mouse about 11 years ago. It was made by Razer. It was released in two models: Boomslang 1000 and Boomslang 2000. According to all websites I searched, they both got released at the same time, and you can easily see this here in wiki:

However, one site i'm participating in insists that one was released before the other. If somebody is old enough and was in the business for such mice in the past, please let me know!

im pretty sure the 2000 was released first, then the 1000 as a "cheaper" alternative.
i enjoyed my boomslang once i got used to the shape, it made sniping in CS super accurate with the on the fly dpi change. i went thru 2 of them and have a spare still just to have

Dust? It is because I'm talking about some really old computer mice. That's all. Don't worry, your pc won't get polluted^_^
