No doubt he suffers from PTSD like many survivors. Their mind has such a hard time coping with what they witness that they lose their sanity.

He's mayor, so he obviously has a history of politics, or successful businesses, or something that got him elected. But he's been getting more and more...weird, as time goes on.

He's now saying that God is mad at America, and that's why he sent hurricaines, and that God is mad at black America, and that's why New Orleans was punished so hard. I mean, hardcore fundies have been saying this all along, but we basically ignore them. It's hard to simply push it aside when it's a mayor saying it. Now he's saying that New Orleans will be a "chocolate city" again? I'm not going to even begin on how odd a statement that is. Can I talk about how I want my part of the country to be a "vanilla" area? That'd be racist, right?

Well seeing as New Orleans was 80% black previously, i don't see what the problem is. His entire 'speech' was like a gospel sermon (not just what he was saying, his tone as well).

Well i didn't listen to the entire thing. He was off his rocker, and i think he was trying to appeal to the voters... who will be mostly black.
