Lol I guess I'm not up on the designer frames. I need prescription sunglasses. I don't care who stamps their name on the metal frame as long as they look good and fit my face.

If you're gonna put prescription lens on it get a high quality frame. Don't get some designers name sunglasses which is prolly made in some sweatshop in a 3rd world country.
You're putting in money for the prescrition lens, get something that is good

Police brand has nice sunglasses,

Oakley without question, Rayban, there are a lot of manufacturer better than Dkny

I'm really not as concerned with a high quality frame since they're worn such a small amount of time. Anyway what do you usually pay for them including lenses? I'm just curious how much I'll be out in a couple weeks.

With sh!t frams expect to be out about $250ish which should include the eye exam.

If you have insurance, and they'll cover it go for the good shizz~

I have subscription sunglasses with an oakley frame. You do want a nice frame because you'll be taking them on and off a lot, and tossing them around. The bulk of the cost is the lenses, so why skimp on the frame? All in all I think it was $300 total. Polarized and all. I got the cheaper end of the oakley line.
