Keep in mind that dropping e or using GHB will CAUSE MINOR BRAIN DAMAGE. It has been proven to destroy brain cells in test animals.

I personally don't care if people use E; heck several friend in HS were hardcore ravers.. but they were blissfully ignorant to the fact that they were destroying their grey matter, and it came as quite a shock to them when I told them about the study.

Yep, e causes your nerve endings to overfire, causing brain damage. You're not going to be like...stupid or something but you will feel less...emotional.

And if you're gonna do e, don't abuse it. 1 max. I've gone a few raves without it...you get more tired and less effects but it's still damn cool.

 

Ok, now that everyone went off on a tangent about drugs and crap.

Raves are parties thrown in abandon warehouses, barns, large fields, etc. Now they frequent club.
A DJ or Live PA artist is there with a huge sound system playing techno, house, dnb, harcore, whatever, until 8am and the sun's shining bright.

The rave scene really died about 5-6 years ago, when it started to be exposed to the mainstream.
Now it is full of kids, turning it into a egofest. Drugs abound party goers have lost sight of the reason they are there, people and music. And much of the essence of partying was lost long ago.

As with any scene, it could be talked about for hours and hours. There are finer points and and entire timeline of events.
But there are also different scenes around the world.

Raves are whack these days. Nothing but 16 year olds who go to parties just to do drugs. Find yourself a quiet little club night somewhere with good music and a smaller crowd. Kick back, listen to some music and if there is some E, caine, or crystal around, get a buzz on. But I wouldn't waste my time with a big $20 party anymore.

We had a similar scene back home.... 1996 is the last time I visited.... I think the most I can go is about 5-6 hours bump and grinding hard.... There were little drugs but definetly more alcohol.... I don't drink so quite a few times I had to carry/drag/haul my friends and cousins home and into their beds... *laffs*

wow.. thats what the 16 year olds in hawaii do now.. go to our little small hole in the wall club, drop some e, and dance till the morning comes up.... that is, when there is no big party in town, which is quite damn often too....... ferry corsten just cancelled cause of a visa problem or something...

oh well.. no more drugs for me.. starting a job that requires drug testing.... bah.. corporate america is suck... its not like itll affect my router skills much...

Raving is old .. the scene is flooded with little kids.. when i say kids I mean little kids.. walking up to me offering x.. im like wtf little punk get the F away from me..
