He's one of the top 5 linebackers in the NFL and they don't want to spend the big bucks on him. I understand they have some cap issues, but when you have the #1 defense, you want to keep all of the key players if you can. They made this mistake in 2001.

:| I hope he doesn't go.

Yea, I'm sorry, they did only just place the tag on him. But at least they did that! Ravens didn't do anything for Adalius but hope that other teams won't offer him more.

Welcome to New England, Thomas.

New England is the cheapest team in the NFL, they can't afford Thomas.

They had to let him go, they don't have the cap room to franchise him. They can't spend 95% of the cap on the defense. He's 30.

come to the texans and play with rising defensive stars and an offense that will make sure you get plenty of playing time

Should have cut Jamal Lewis and hoped for someone to step up, then had Ray Ray pull a Manning and restructure his contract. This guy is a beast, and the Ravens D will yet again drop another notch next year. If you've watched Thomas and saw what he can do, you just simply cannot let that kind of talent go. Defensive end, OLB, freakin' SAFETY !!!! He's going to make somebody's defense a lot better next year ... mark my words.

The Vikes don't need a LB, they need a sack machine on the line. They had little to no pressure on the QB all season.

He's gonna be a niner. We have some 37.5 million dollars in cap space. Most in the NFL.

If only the Pats didn't franchise asante samuel. I'm sure the niners would've loved to go after him.

But this eyar hte niners should go defense in the free market and draft.

at least we still got Ray Lewis, best MLB in the game. Losing Thomas will hurt, but the Ravens should still make a playoff run next year.

<---- still pissed we didn't win this year. fsck the colts

he'll be on the Panthers team next season. We're not going to re-sign Dan Morgan and his backup (whoever he is, can't remember him) sucked. How good is this Adalius anyways?
