lol

I'd rather let my body try to cleanse that crap out then have my entire arm ripped open like that. And we're supposed to have such incredibly advanced methods of treatment...

That's nothing compared to that one guy on here who had the gaping leg wound. He was posting updates every week as the hole closed up. What was that thing called? Fasciotomy, that's what it was called. Gross!

Rattlesnakes posion eats away at the tissue surrounding the bite where the venom was injected causing excruciating pain. As the chunks of inner flesh begin to loosen as they rot away they begin to flow into the bloodstream and later into the kidneys causing kidney failure due to the blockage.

HFC! What? A few years and a few million dollars down the drain because some idiot decided to play with a rattle snake?

Edit: Would help to read the "story" first. I have a hard time belieiving he was minding his own business, swinging his arms, when a rattler, without rattling, up and decided to bite him.

That's actually some pretty incredible medical surgery, they could've just lopped off the arm and been done with it, but they managed to save it.

Hurray for medical science!

Surprisingly, the pics didn't gross me out at all. UCDMC is about 15mins away from my house :D and where Joshua stayed during his premature birth.
