Just got my "RatPad" in today. Smoothest optical pad I ever had. Hey, I already soupped up the system, this mouse pad is the only thing I could upgrade and get excited about.🙂😎
 
I had a ratpad for a year or so, til i figured out they suck. Now i just use the smooth wood desk surface. Func pads are much, much better imho. Having an optical 800dpi mouse, the mouse just isn't responsive to flicks on that surface. Func pads can handle flicks though. If you have a ball, the ratpad would be alright.
