Rates droping!!

we host a small town bank, and weekly, I update their online rates page. and well rates have been droping for the past 2 months, this week they dropped in some parts, nearly a half a %, and in others a quarter, is the stock market, really bombing that bad?

It's not doing good... DOW was below 10000 (was around 11200 in Sept), but is (as of right now) slighty over. Nasdaq below 2000 (was around 4000 in Sept), S&P is down below 1200 when it was at around 1500 in Sept.
