I will use this for basic video/picture editing, internet, word processing, etc. NO GAMING. I'm getting the SLI board for the features on the board but I do not plan to SLI. I'm getting the Asus Premium board to avoid the CSF problems in the Deluxe board. Please recommend any changes. Would like to keep under $1200.

Case: Thermaltake VB1000BNS Soprano ATX
Power Supply: Antec NEOPOWER480
Motherboard: Asus A8N-SLI Premium nForce4 SLI
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Memory: DDR (400) 3200 - 1 GB (2 pcs 512) Corsair
Hard Drive: SATAII - Western Digital Caviar SE 250 GB
DVD-RW: NEC ND-3540A
Floppy Drive: Mitsumi Floppy 7-in-1 USB Card
Video Card: ATI (Original) All-In-Wonder X600 PRO 256

Any suggestions / changes....getting ready tro order soon...

It would be nice if you specified what RAM. Corsair VS? If yes, then go for it.

NeoPower 480'll be a bit overkill if you don't plan on overclocking. Smartpower 450 for $55 is excellent.

X600Pro AIW isn't worth it IMO. You can get an X300 (or a plain X600) + a seperate TV tuner card, because the AIW doesn't even come with a remote.

DVD-RW: The BenQ burner got better reviews at Anandtech and it's a better value IMO.

Edit: It would also be nice if you posted a link to your parts. That way we can tell you what's a good deal, and where you can find better deals....etc.

Just wondering, can you link to that Mitsumi 7in1 reader? When you say "USB" does that mean it supports USB or dose it connect by USB?
